The “flagship” of Milby & Oliver, our Legal Recruitment Division serves both large and small law firms alike by the identification, qualification, presentation, and placement of Partners, ‘Of Counsel’, and Associate attorneys, either under a contingency fee, or via retained search assignments. We also recruit groups of partners and associates, and assist law firms interested in a potential merger opportunity.

Our law firm clients include some ten (10) or so of the top 30 national and international law firms, as well as some ninety (90) law firm clients in all both domestically and abroad.

Our standard fee is 25% of the first year’s base compensation of the attorney candidate, exclusive of bonuses, benefits, and other incentives. Our fees for partner groups or large, firm-wide mergers is negotiated on a case-by-case basis, with a maximum “fee cap” usually negotiated in the very early stages of the candidate group presentation.
